Alpenglow Skin Spa - Courtney Cunard

Just recently a great friend of my Wife's opened up her own business, Alpenglow Skin Spa. She's been a friend of Tara's since High School and moved here to Colorado Springs back in January of this year. She had it on her heart to open up this business and truly God is blessing her. She was an easy model to photography... Great job Courtney!

We're blessed to have her here now as she is a super sweet person and cracks us up with her humor.

Well she asked me to do some shots of her and I gladly agreed. Below are some of the shots from last Wednesdays session.

Oh... and if anyone here in the area is looking for a great Esthetician - she is FANTASTIC and she is the only licensed Esthetician that carries authorized Epicuren products here in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Check out Alpenglow Skin Spa....

Brian and Liz - 2nd Year Anniversary

They were married 2 years ago, they told me that they never received Engagement Photos. So I thought I'd hook them up with some great engagement style images along with great emotion filled shots.

Brian and Liz - they're both in the Military serving to protect our great country. They have the type of jobs that are top secret - so I didn't get much info about it... I'm sure if I did they'd have to kill me... ha-ha. No really. ;-)

Before we started our session the clouds had moved in and HUGE storms started across the area. However they skies parted and we had a great session with wonderful puffy clouds. I did pray driving up to the shoot for clear skies for a little while... I like to believe that worked! The breaking in of the warm sun made for some of my most favorite shots.

Brian/Liz - you both were a blessing to hang with... very cool couple. Oh and Brian I'll be praying for you while you're deployed to Iraq - be safe my friend. Talk to you soon guys...

Wanek Family

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together.
~Erma Bombeck

Jim, Julie, John, Joe, Sarah, and Corine - what a great Family. It never ceases to amaze me the love and joy of a family, the bond that is formed with each other, the inside jokes, the laughs from a distant, it's a great thing to witness. Seeing big happy families together makes me miss mine.

What a great looking bunch too. Jim it was a pleasure spending time with your family... hope to meeting again someday soon. //enoch

JoEllen and Marshall - Engagement

This weekend was extra busy for me... feels like I haven't blogged in forever. Went a graduation on Saturday --- I'll post some images later this week.

On Sunday I met up with future wife to be JoEllen and fiance Marshall at Helen Hunt Falls. What a fun loving kind hearted duo. We laughed and joked around the whole morning - they both cracked me up - what a great sense of humor. You both are beautiful people... see ya in a few weeks for you BIG DAY!

Britains Got Talent

I've been hooked on watching this clip lately... I smile the whole way through. I can't tell you how surprised I was to love it. At first I was thinking this was another lame MJ impersonator, but I was so wrong... blew me away. I've watched it at least 10 times...

enjoy. /enoch

Weekend in review and Mother's Day

Hello my wonderful peeps - this weekend was awesome and of course not long enough.

Hope you all had a great weekend with your family and celebrated Mother's Day with your wife and children and paid a visit to you Mom or at least called. And on a side note about my wife and being a mother - she is IMO the absolute best mother Kenzie could ask for, she is patient, kind, loving, aware of emotions and needs, and always has that Motherly intuition that I admire so much from all mothers. Kenzie is an amazing little girl and I know beyond a shadow of doubt this is because of Tara and her love for her - of course I add me to this as well... however when we decided that Tara would be a mommy 1st and foremost in these early years it was the best decision we ever made. I love honey and I always will.

My Mom lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma so I was able to call her and talk for a while - we speak about 3 times a week. I miss her and can't wait to see her next month.

The family here all hung out together... it was nice.

Oh and it was potty training weekend for Kenzie... it's going well. ;-)

Here's a few for the blog from Sunday...

I noticed some AWESOME light from my bedroom - so I had an impromptu session for Kenzie... love this light --- plus my little girl is so beautiful!

This is Tara's mom - Terry (aka Gamma). She's a Hot Rod driving/racing, gun shootin' Grandma! She's an angel and I am a lucky Son-n-Law... no really I am.

This is Tara's Dad - Jim (aka Pappo to the Grandkids). He is a great guy, loving, giving, and always joking. Plus he has those Gandalf style eye brows ....

Kenzie showin' the love to Pappo.

Here's Gamma and Pappo enjoying the Sunday afternoon at the park - watching Jimmy play with his new toy.

And here's Jimmy (Tara's brother) with his new R/C Boat

This thing is fast - goes about 40+ mph --- has to watch out for the ducks.. or vice versa.

We capped off the night at a trip to Baskin Robins for 3 cones --- Mike Terry Devon and Micah met us out there and enjoyed some family time and laughes.

Kenzie lovin' her cone.

Mike and Terry are moving to Balize in July to become missionaries with their family. I can't tell you how much we're going to miss them, however we are planning a trip out there for next April 2009. We'll see.

Good to the last drop.
