Here's my latest Engagement Session - David and Jessica. They were extremely cool... so cool they're getting hitched in Vegas.
The shoot was fun and spirited and the images came out great.
Jessica/David - I'm very excited for the two of you and your life together. Have fun and be blessed in all you both do together.

I have to be honest - I've always loved the name Jack... Captain Jack Sparrow, Jack the Pumpkin King, Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack Jack from The Incredibles, etc... . I've told Tara that if we had another kid and it was a boy - Jack would be either his first or middle name, or just a name I called him! ha.
How the shoot went -
- Jack cute
- Parents awesome
- Givson guitar (India knockoff!) LOVED IT!
- Great shoot!!

It was snowing hard that Saturday morning, the sun shining through the clouds and causing the snow on the ground to radiate in white brilliance. The fresh falling white puffy snow would be a obstacle to overcome, a hurdle that would cause me pain ... or maybe something I could work with during the next few hours.
I meet up with Neal and his groomsman first when I arrived at Arapaho Basin - where in little over an hour he would be kissing his new wife. I wondered why this location was chosen, so ... I asked. And Neal informed me that this was the location of their 3rd date and that on this date was when he first realized that he was falling head over heals in love with Annie. Charming, indeed. So this was a must for the location...
Annie arrived glowing and beautiful - as her son's walked her down the aisle (snow aisle lined with ski poles) - the resort seemed to stop and stare. And then.... she did... he did... and then............. they kissed. Beautiful.
And yes...I dressed in my snow gear readying myself up for below freezing temperatures, later I would learn I should have accounted for the extra energy to move through the white powder.
Oh and yeah... this particular day, at A-Basin, it was some sort of "dress goofy day", so during the ceremony I noticed a large Male clown in the distance and thought it somewhat odd - ok maybe a lot odd. And of course Mr.Scary Clown man (he carried an Ax) wanted to crash the wedding and get in a few pictures. So he did for a few minutes, but alas no balloon animals or juggling ... lame. ;-)
We met up again this past weekend for some additional shooting ... I'll post some of those next week. Killer shots ... can't wait to show you.
Congratulation again Annie and Neal. Be Blessed.

The Gonzalez household was slow going this past weekend. Hangin' out and watching movies - and playtime to the 10th power.

I'm not lazy -- just busy (ok maybe a little lazy)... updates coming soon. Weddings - portraits --- and other stuff.
