Hannah's Gooood Lookin' Senior Portraits

Met up with Hannah and her wonderful family in Manitou a couple weeks ago, we had such a blast hanging out and just taking fun pictures. Along the way we ran into a couple that had a harlequin macaw - which just seem like a good prop for some pictures... it was certainly a cool picture opportunity.

Hannah was just a great model to capture and her images have turned out so soooo cool. Below are some of the awesome'ness that I've captured.

This was that cool macaw that we ran into, he couldn't stop kissing Hannah.

This is a cool image of Hannah and her boyfriend Jaron - it started to rain right when we completed the shoot.

On a side note....
To my fellow photographers that run Lightroom - I ran across a program that has made my life in LR2 so awesome. The DNG Profile Editor. I've always had issues capturing in RAW and not getting that richness of color --- then I ran into this Blog --- oh how that DNG Profile has changed that pop in picture life I've been longing for... hahaha. So I thought I'd share the link and let you feel the love...

DNG Profile Editor is in Beta form... however it works so good!! Learn more at Abode.

Southern Charm and a Wedding Dress

Went out a couple weeks ago with Dondra to shoot her beautiful self in her beautiful wedding dress. Tara and I went out on this shoot and had a great time with Dondra - former pageant model to note, who's southern country charm was so warm and inviting, made you wanna start saying "yes sir/ma'am" to everyone.

See I use to live down in Louisiana many years ago and I remember people being so polite everywhere you go, she really just took me down memory lane being with her and of course listening to the ascent - very charming. Tara and I both loved our time with you Dondra... hope to hang again soon. Have a great time down in Cajun Country. ;-)

"In the South, the breeze blows softer...neighbors are friendlier, nosier, and more talkative. (By contrast with the Yankee, the Southerner never uses one word when ten or twenty will do)...This is a different place. Our way of thinking is different, as are our ways of seeing, laughing, singing, eating, meeting and parting. Our walk is different, as the old song goes, our talk and our names. Nothing about us is quite the same as in the country to the north and west. What we carry in our memories is different too, and that may explain everything else."

The Pacione Six

6 is a magic number for the Pacione Family - 6 beautiful members of an ultra cool awesome family. Holly is a fellow photographer here in Colorado Springs (Holly Pacione Photography) and I felt honored to get that call from her to take some super duper cool shots of her extra cool family. It was requested to show relationships and not so much of staring into the camera... I like that.

The kiddo's spanned from 1.5 years to 6 years old - and mom and dad where just wonderful to be around, You could feel the love as it should be...

I had a great time with them - Matt/Holly - you guys are so cool and have such a great family, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my time with you all. Let's hang out soon. //enoch

The Meadows - Family Fun Cuteness Overload Session

This is the same super duper cutie pie that I photographed back in November (Caution Uber cuteness Part 1). However this time ... she's 2 years old and as fast as lighting. Honestly ... she was like the flash and I was running my tushy off getting those shots. But hey - tis the life of a photographer.

Mom and Dad both came out and I got a few cool ones of them, however this was really just about Grandma getting those precious moments of here ubercute Grandaughter - which really Kayla could be anywhere and doing anything and the cuteness would always make you want to go "awhhhhh she's so dang cuuuutte" - if only they could bottle it up and sell it - you guys would be Bazillionaires.
