Been busy -

Ah the lack of Blogging... everyone goes through it, my excuse... I've been busy with Photography jobs lately. I'll be posting up some new pictures soon of a couple great clients that I've had recently. Also I'm really psyched about this weekend... I'm shooting a band with a good friend a fellow photographer (Tri-Lakes Photography). This should be a cool session, I have some great ideas for an unusual session...

Today, I shot 2 absolutely adorable kids, this was a really fun session, I really love working with cute well mannered children... I'll post up a few shots tomorrow.

Tonight was premier night for 3 of my Favorite shows - Smallville, The Office, and CSI. We DVR'd CSI and will have to watch it another time... oh did Sara live or die??? Can't wait to find out. Smallville was AWESOME!!... Oh... can't wait till next Thursday!

Rock Family

Our family is part of an amazing church (Rock Family Church). This church has really inspired me in many ways in such a small amount of time, Pastor Dean is such a great man of God and really speaks the truth in love.
Today's message was amazing and I invite you to listen as all his messages are online (last 6 messages) - this week's message will be online by mid-week.
It was an awesome message that dealt with being a Safe church (i.e. - Strives to keep members happy, avoids controversial issues (Praying for healing, etc...), remains cautious) and being a Dangerous church (i.e. - has an uncivilized approach, dares to dream BIG, 2 more characteristics will be given next week.)

I am so happy that me and my family are attending such a great church - we are truly getting feed spiritually every week.

Cool thing is that in January the church will be moving locations and starting to meet at Mr.Biggs for Sunday services. What a great place to attract more people not just to the Church but to Christ. Out of the box thinking. Love it!...

New Clients

I'm really stoked that I've been getting more opportunities to capture moments in clients lives lately. I thank God for these blessing that he continues to give to me, wonderful people that I met and the opportunities that I've prayed for to actually come to pass. I'm really excited to what lies ahead in the near future.
We're heading out to the park now to ride the slides and swing --- and get dizzy... yeah! ....

Date night

So tonight Tara and I had a wonderful simple date night (I love my wife so much!). We decided to start this up as we really need time for us, time to spend quality time with each other. We dropped Kenzie off at Gamma's (Tara's mom) place, she'll spend the night there tonight. We left there and went to dinner at Olive Garden as we both were craving it, then went and watched a movie (Evan Almighty- Great Movie!).
Now back home we are noticing how quiet it is at home, it's the 2nd night ever that Kenzie has stayed away from us. We can definitely say that we miss her, she makes us complete.
Oh also, I hate spiders - ok maybe ALL BUGS (except Butterflies) - yuck... a phobia I'm certain. So Tara had a dream that there were spiders living in a curtain in our bedroom, sure enough when she checked there was one living in the curtain in our bedroom. YUCK!
So we decided to check the curtains in the living room as well and yep - SPIDERS! Ewwwwhhh... You don't understand how much a dislike them... so now we're cleaning out all the window sills and spraying them with lavender oil (natural spider killer) - they'll smell good while they die.
On to vacuuming out the couch and chairs in the living room to make sure nasty ugly baby spiders don't live in them... oh and maybe later I'll watch Arachnophobia so I can make sure I don't get any sleep tonight thinking spiders are crawling on me... yeah yeah yeah... I know... I'm a little girl... whatever!... Good night. :)

Nothing much... and something coming in the near future...

Nothing much happened tonight, worked on a lot of images in post processing, went to the library to pick up some new books came back home and then we just hung out and made dinner... stewed beans and rice (she's been cooking them all day)... I absolutely love Tara's beans, they are scrumptious. Mmm Mmmm goood. :)

OK - so later this month I'm going to release something that YOU can get involved in that I'm calling "PS Love". Basically I'll be picking my favorite picture from pictures that are sent from all my readers and I'll give it some PS Love - Photoshop enhancement love (brighten the colors, color enhancements, slight artistic enhancement, etc...). I'll do this once a month to a chosen picture. So be on the look out for more details and when to submit your image to me, tell you friends and family as they won't want to miss out on this.

Well it's bed time - good night all. Be Blessed.

Superfan

If you know me you know that I have a small addiction of a kind. Hi my name is Enoch and I'm addicted to collecting Superman memorabilia. Ha-ha. OK so I've slowed down kinda but I still have this huge collection. Since moving to Colorado Springs I've kept a lot of it boxed, but when people see my office and the amount that is out and displayed they gasp... ha-ha. Oh well.

What can I say... I'm a kid at heart. I've liked Superman since I was a small child collecting the comics. The funniest thing is that Kenzie really likes Superman now, she calls him Meen-meen, and gets gleefully excited when she sees the "S" symbol. I love that! That's Daddy's little girl. Tara really thinks it's cute too, and to be honest I'm the one with the collection, but Tara is the one that continues to buy me stuff too and helps in the growth of this collection. ha-ha

Kenzie

We have a little girl, her name is Kenzie. She is very funny and really keeps use occupied. She is the love of our life, the bestestestest little girl I know. (I'm biased I know)

This is one of my favorite pictures of Tara and Kenzie. Kenzie was about 3 1/2 months old. We went to pick strawberries this day and had a lovely time.

Lately she has gotten into markers and colors, and wants to "color" all the time. So this day she got into drawing on herself, so Tara and I decided to have some fun with it gave her some non-toxic tattoos. Needless to say she loved it and I'm sure can't wait to do some more.
When I was growing up my parents use to alway so (and still do) that I've grown up so fast, now I kind of understand this being a new Dad and all. When I was younger the years couldn't speed up fast enough to get to 13, then 16, 18, then 21 - oh the milestones of our youth. Now I seem bask in the thoughts of Kenzie growing up oh so fast, noticing all the little small steps to her personal adventures through life, learning and growing. At times I think of thoughts far into the future when she's a teenager a beautiful little girl to us. And then my mind wanders father to when I'm giving her away to someone else. Oh she is growing up so fast, but regardless she will always be my little girl. Daddy's little girl.

I love you Kenzie. - Daddy.

Debbie & Todd : Engagement

Had an amazing time with Todd and Debbie last Saturday, they are such an extraordinary couple. It was such a pleasure to spend time with them and get to know them a little bit. I can not wait for June 12th, '08. Here are some shots from the session...(click on the picture to open it up larger.)

Disturbia

This past weekend I shot an engagement shoot for a beautiful couple. They were an amazing couple - Todd and Debbie. Went to the city of Monument CO to do the shoot, at a park called Fox Run Park, it was amazing. Afterwards, we drove to the small downtown area of Monument, it was very cute and quaint. Beautiful area, I loved it.
I'll be posting some pictures later this week.... they're absolutely lovely.

Tonight Tara and I laid on the couch together and watched Disturbia, which turned out to be a really good movie. The main actor, Shia LaBeouf, is really a great actor IMO. I've seen him in a couple films - each one I've really enjoyed. Look out for this kid - he'll be the next Tom Hanks.

Other than that I worked on more Photos to post and also I'm really getting into forums lately and have really enjoyed the OSP (Open Source Photo) forum that I have joined. Really learning a ton of information from seasoned photographers.

Well that's it for tonight - I'm off to bed to read a book actually, Punk Marketing. Good book so far.
