Just Jack...

I have to be honest - I've always loved the name Jack... Captain Jack Sparrow, Jack the Pumpkin King, Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack Jack from The Incredibles, etc... . I've told Tara that if we had another kid and it was a boy - Jack would be either his first or middle name, or just a name I called him! ha.

How the shoot went -
- Jack cute
- Parents awesome
- Givson guitar (India knockoff!) LOVED IT!
- Great shoot!!

Annie and Neal - A Basin "the Beach" Wedding

It was snowing hard that Saturday morning, the sun shining through the clouds and causing the snow on the ground to radiate in white brilliance. The fresh falling white puffy snow would be a obstacle to overcome, a hurdle that would cause me pain ... or maybe something I could work with during the next few hours.

I meet up with Neal and his groomsman first when I arrived at Arapaho Basin - where in little over an hour he would be kissing his new wife. I wondered why this location was chosen, so ... I asked. And Neal informed me that this was the location of their 3rd date and that on this date was when he first realized that he was falling head over heals in love with Annie. Charming, indeed. So this was a must for the location...

Annie arrived glowing and beautiful - as her son's walked her down the aisle (snow aisle lined with ski poles) - the resort seemed to stop and stare. And then.... she did... he did... and then............. they kissed. Beautiful.

And yes...I dressed in my snow gear readying myself up for below freezing temperatures, later I would learn I should have accounted for the extra energy to move through the white powder.

Oh and yeah... this particular day, at A-Basin, it was some sort of "dress goofy day", so during the ceremony I noticed a large Male clown in the distance and thought it somewhat odd - ok maybe a lot odd. And of course Mr.Scary Clown man (he carried an Ax) wanted to crash the wedding and get in a few pictures. So he did for a few minutes, but alas no balloon animals or juggling ... lame. ;-)

We met up again this past weekend for some additional shooting ... I'll post some of those next week. Killer shots ... can't wait to show you.

Congratulation again Annie and Neal. Be Blessed.

Weekend in Review - Easter

The Gonzalez household was slow going this past weekend. Hangin' out and watching movies - and playtime to the 10th power.

Friday night was dinner together and a movie - lots of cuddle time.

Saturday - photo shoot (post next week) in the mornin', lots of playtime with Kenzie, more home-made dinner goodness - watched Dark Knight again (love that movie!) in which we were again in awe of the awesome acting chops that Heath Ledger showed in that movie.

Sunday - no Church as Kenzie still has the PICC line in her arm for the IV Antibiotics (next Tuesday and that's it... can't wait!), woke up early for an indoor Easter egg hunt in the house. The hunt took all of 3 mins as Kenzie is really good at finding the little plastic eggs so we had to hide them all again about 10 more times throughout the day. She loves that game. That night Tara and I watched "Hearts of Atlantis" - I really liked that movie, it was based on a Stephen King short story - I'd definitely recommend it. Oh yeah and we read lots of books, taught Kenzie the true meaning of the Easter Story (Resurrection of Jesus Christ), and watched the Miracle Maker in the morning.

Hope you all had a great weekend as well. Take care..... //enoch

Here's a photo of Kenzie from last year - she came out to the living room and surprised Tara with a good laugh - she's so silly.

Updates coming soon... but Cabbage rolls for now...

I'm not lazy -- just busy (ok maybe a little lazy)... updates coming soon. Weddings - portraits --- and other stuff.

Be blessed. I leave you with a this --- I cooked a few weeks ago some cabbage rolls, they actually turned out looking great and tasting pretty good, but it'll be the last time for cabbage rolls here unless my mamma comes and cooks them.

BTW - my kiddo (Kenzie) is doing great - we had a stint of Pneumonia which by 4/21 will take us across the 2month mark of having to deal with. She was hospitalized for 5 days - BUT alas our God is great and she is healed - her lungs are perfect, but oh was that scary. much love ...e

Happy Easter weekend everyone, I pray you all understand the truth behind this day ... not just the bunnies and eggs part. (man I really have to check into why bunnies and eggs made into this day... hmmmm)
